Presets Overview

Presets save your complete configuration (document, color, and export settings) for instant reuse on future projects.
Pro Feature: Presets require a Pro subscription to create and save. Free users can use built-in presets only.

Why Use Presets?

Without presets:
  • Configure 15+ settings every time
  • 5-10 minutes per export
  • Risk of forgetting a setting
With presets:
  • Select preset from dropdown
  • 5 seconds
  • Consistent every time
Time saved: 95%
Problem: Different settings across projectsSolution: Preset ensures identical configurationExample:
All business cards:
- Same bleed (0.125")
- Same ICC profile (ISO Coated v2)
- Same DPI (300)
- Same compression (85%)
Result: Consistent quality
Scenario: Printer provides specificationsSolution: Create preset matching their requirementsUse case:
"Acme Printing - Offset"
- ICC: Custom Acme ICC
- TAC: 280%
- PDF/X-1a
- Specific crop mark style
Benefit: Always print-ready for that printer
Different projects need different settings:Solution: Preset per project typeExamples:
  • “Business Cards - Standard”
  • “Large Format Posters”
  • “Booklet - Saddle Stitch”
  • “Quick Proofs - Low Res”
Switch: One click
